Attention was placed on the charity contributions that actually made it to the charity
at the 2007 Seattle Marathon. In light of this discovery, we want to point out that all of the proceeds
from this event have always gone to the intended scholarship. Expenses of the run historically include a contribution to
the SK Park for use of the property, a fee for use of
the clock and finish line equipment, cost of supplies for marking the course, and administration
expenses to cover registration materials.
The Race Director receives $0. All workers are volunteer and receive no financial compensation from the
event profits.
